The Role:
This key position involves working on both electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of equipment across our high-tech site as part of a double day shift.
Responsibilities include performing reactive and preventative maintenance on various electrical and mechanical systems, troubleshooting and repairing faults to minimize downtime, conducting routine inspections and maintenance of machinery, supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems, collaborating with other engineers to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and assisting with continuous improvement projects and the introduction of new technology.
Requirements:
An Electrical and Mechanical engineering background is essential, with experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a high-tech or manufacturing environment. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills are required, along with knowledge of PLCs, motor drives, and control systems. The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals is also necessary, as well as health & safety awareness and adherence to regulations. A salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum is estimated based on industry standards.
