Job Overview

At Norwood House, we are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as an Intermediate Care Support worker. This role involves providing one-to-one care to residents on a rolling rota, including weekdays and weekends.

We require someone who is reliable, trustworthy, and passionate about delivering high-quality care that meets the specific needs of our residents. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Senior Support Worker to ensure that residents receive exceptional support and care.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in promoting independence, dignity, and person-centered care. They will be committed to creating a safe and happy environment for all residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing personalized care to residents, focusing on their unique needs and preferences.
  • Assisting with daily activities, ensuring residents' comfort, safety, and well-being.
  • Supporting residents in engaging with various activities, promoting social interaction and community participation.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues to the Senior Support Worker.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in Health and Social Care (2 years preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.

Working Conditions:
