Children's Care Specialist

CareTech Group is looking for a Children's Care Specialist to join our team in the North East. As a key member of our care staff, you will work closely with children and young people to promote their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of child development and be able to design and implement creative activities that meet the needs of young people. They will also be able to maintain accurate records, prepare written reports, and act as an advocate in meetings where the young person is the subject of discussion.
Key responsibilities include providing 1:1 support, organising social activities, and maintaining a safe and clean living environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and be committed to delivering high-quality care.
The salary for this role is approximately £24,000 - £25,500 per year, based on a 40-hour week and including the £30 sleep-in payment. We offer a comprehensive induction and training program, as well as opportunities for career development and growth.
