About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Assistant to join our team at Greater Brighton Metropolitan College. As a Learning Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students who require additional help with their programs of study. You will work closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, including emotional, social, behavioral, and mobility needs.
  • Assist students in a classroom or workshop setting, providing individualized support and guidance.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers, and other support staff.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized learning plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure students receive comprehensive support.

Requirements:
