Job Title: Spacecraft Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Spacecraft Mechanical Engineer to join our team at CV-Library. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of spacecraft mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the customization phase of spacecraft projects, ensuring design for manufacture and production readiness.
  • Lead the installation of satellite appendages and integration flows, and prepare documentation for production phases.
  • Develop and maintain mechanical systems, including tooling and build aids for assembly execution.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Engineering team to support process owners and resolve operational activities.
  • Conduct quality reviews, PFMEA, and root cause analysis to ensure high-quality documentation and processes.
Requirements:
  • High mechanical skills and relevant experience.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to create high-quality documentation.
  • Practical and proactive approach, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge and experience in production of high-quality documentation, including test specs, test plans, and test procedures.
  • Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to deal with changing priorities and complex mechanical systems.
