Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment team at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust.

The post is open to experienced practitioners from a variety of disciplines, including nursing, social work, and occupational therapy, who are passionate and motivated.

This is an opportunity to join our busy crisis service, as a team lead and senior Mental Health Practitioner, requiring the successful post holder to have both clinical and operational responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the Crisis Team to deliver a 7-day a week Mental Health Crisis service for a geographical area.
  2. Develop and implement effective clinical leadership to ensure high-quality, compassionate, person-centred care.
  3. Provide supervision to team members and ensure the team adopts the policies and philosophy of LPT.
  4. Ensure evidence-based practice is delivered to improve the quality of and shape responsive services.
  5. Co-ordinate and lead a multi-agency staff team to ensure the provision and development of an effective service in line with legislative, procedural, and contractual requirements.
