Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Youth Worker to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a Mental Health Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Support: Assist teachers in setting up lessons, tidying away materials, and providing general classroom supervision.
- Behaviour Management: Help students regulate their emotions, process their thoughts and feelings, and de-escalate challenging behavior.
- Student Support: Provide individualized support to students with mental health needs, helping them to achieve their full potential in the classroom.
Requirements:
- Personality: A positive outlook and compassionate spirit are essential for this role.
- Experience: While experience working with children and young people is desirable, it is not essential.
- Qualifications: An Enhanced DBS certificate is required. If you do not have a DBS, we can support your application.
- Eligibility: You must have the eligibility to work in the UK. Sponsorships are not offered.
