Industrial Technician

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on a night shift basis. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring our production facilities run smoothly and efficiently.
Job ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include:
- Completing reactive and preventative works across the site, reporting defects to contractors, assisting contractors, keeping up-to-date on defect tickets raised on our CMMS system, and following the site's Health and Safety rules.
- Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on plant and equipment, including automated conveying systems, gravity conveying systems with label applicators scanners, thermoforming equipment, refrigeration plant (CO2), hi-speed roller doors, and dock levellers.
- Identifying defects that arise while completing PPMs and undertaking rectifications, recording actions taken in the maintenance manual and CMMS system.
- Conducting minor structural and electrical improvement works.
- Providing reactive support when required, including breakdown response, and ensuring high standards and timely completion of work.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A strong background in maintenance or engineering, preferably with experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Knowledge of automated systems and PLC controls.
- Basic computer skills with experience in CMMS or similar systems.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
