About the Role

The Release Manager will ensure that releases are delivered on time, within scope, and with the highest quality. This involves defining and managing the release schedule, developing and implementing release management processes, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Release Planning and Coordination: Define and manage the release schedule, ensuring alignment with project timelines, resource availability, and business priorities.
  • Process Management: Develop, implement, and maintain release management processes, ensuring best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, product management, and operations teams to ensure successful and smooth releases.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks in the release process, ensuring that any issues are proactively addressed and resolved.
  • Communication: Serve as the central point of contact for all release-related communications, ensuring stakeholders are informed of release status, issues, and timelines.
  • Post-Release Review: Conduct post-release reviews to identify areas for improvement, ensuring that lessons learned are incorporated into future releases.
  • Tooling and Automation: Advocate for and implement automation in the release process to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and improve the speed of releases.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that all releases are compliant with internal and external standards, maintaining detailed documentation of release processes and outcomes.

About You

We're looking for a Release Manager with 5+ years of experience in release management, software engineering, or a related field. You should have a strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release management processes, as well as experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

Desirable

  • Experience in the automotive, robotics, or AI industries.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
