Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Greenacres, a 33-bed care home in Sutton Coldfield. As a Registered Nurse with Leonard Cheshire, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our customers with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centred care to customers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Order and administer medication, maintaining accurate records and adhering to NMC guidelines.
  • Lead a team of support staff, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities to ensure smooth shift management.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments, observing changes in health and well-being, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Support customers with physical care, personal hygiene needs, and daily tasks.
Requirements:
  • Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Thorough knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
  • Understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance.
  • Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
  • Flexibility to work rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
