Electrical Project Engineer Job Description

At M Group Services, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and supporting Project Managers in delivering projects primarily in the water & waste water, power distribution, and petrochemical industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working within a multi-disciplinary team to develop technical solutions for various industries.
  • Supporting Project Managers with knowledge to complete simple design and project engineering functions.
  • Progressively becoming involved in and responsible for elements of design and project delivery.
  • Participating in design coordination with other engineering disciplines and professionals.
  • Producing cable calculations, electrical schematic diagrams, and documentation.
  • Procuring electrical equipment and supporting subcontract procurement based on detailed specifications.
  • Ensuring site installation works and quality match both design and appropriate industry standards.
  • Producing Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
Requirements:
  • Qualified in Electrical Engineering or a relevant subject.
  • Experience in relevant industry and preferably previous experience in water/wastewater.
  • Computer literate with a good understanding of appropriate software packages, including Microsoft Office and CAD packages.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with clients, suppliers, contractors, and design teams.
