Job Summary

Uxbridge College is seeking an experienced Employability Development Manager to support the Head of Employability and Assistant Director for Enhanced Skills and Employability in achieving our targets for work experience, industry placements, and employability.


The estimated salary for this position is £52,000 - £62,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. This figure is based on national averages for similar roles in the UK education sector.


Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to work closely with academic departments and corporate partners to deliver innovative solutions that enhance student employability.

Main Responsibilities

  • To develop and implement strategies to increase work experience and industry placements
  • To work closely with academic departments to develop curricula that embed employability skills
  • To identify and build relationships with corporate partners to secure opportunities for students
  • To monitor and evaluate the impact of employability initiatives

Requirements

We are looking for an individual with a strong track record of delivering employability initiatives in a further education setting. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in a relevant subject
  • Proven experience of working in employability or careers guidance
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • An understanding of the further education sector and its challenges
