About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering Specialist to join our team at NHS North Of England Commissioning Support Unit. As an Associate Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and delivery of our secondary care data service within our data management service.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will have strong database development skills, good communication and planning skills, and a passion for all things digital. You will be accustomed to working within a complex, fast-paced environment where data and technology plays a key role in the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the provisioning of data platforms and tooling underpinning numerous corporate and customer facing services.
  • Design, develop, test and operate data products in an agile manner with an appropriate technology architecture.
Requirements
  • Professional qualification at degree level in an information related discipline or equivalent experience including a combination of data, digital or technology knowledge/experience or qualification.
  • Experience of supporting data, data processes, products and platforms.
  • Ability to travel independently to various locations across the NECS customer base.
