About the Role

This locum consultant diagnostic radiologist position has arisen due to maternity cover, providing a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic and forward-thinking team. The successful candidate will have sub-speciality level experience in urological imaging and be able to contribute to the general work of the department.

The postholder will be expected to report on a variety of cases, including ultrasound, CT, MRI, and plain radiographs. They will also be responsible for contributing to the training and development of junior staff members. With a strong focus on training and research, this role offers a stimulating environment that fosters growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in urological imaging
  • Report on a variety of cases, including ultrasound, CT, MRI, and plain radiographs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clinical staff to ensure effective service delivery
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • GMC registration as a medical practitioner with a license to practice
  • Appropriate Royal College Membership (FRCR or equivalent)
  • Sub-speciality level experience in urological imaging
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is between £105,504 and £139,882 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including career development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a staff recognition scheme.
