Job Summary

FCC Environment is seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Treatment Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for managing a team of staff operating treatment facilities for industrial wastewaters across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Leachate Treatment Division and associated staff in the UK
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Division in accordance with its relevant operating permits and licences and with legislation
  • Undertake the direct, day to day management of leachate treatment facilities
  • Monitor and advise on the Group's leachate disposal plants and provide reports on their performance and compliance with all relevant legislation
  • Liaise with, and seek to influence, the regulatory authorities with regard to ongoing regulation of leachate treatment
  • Keep abreast of regulatory and technological developments and industry best practice in the design, build and management of leachate treatment facilities

Requirements

  • Experience in the treatment and disposal of leachate or related discipline
  • Experience in a sector where compliance with regulatory controls is an important factor
  • A degree or equivalent qualification with a proven track record in a related discipline
