Job Title

Sr. Branch Manager, Business Development Dir., or Ops & Sales Lead:

Ambitious professional sought to spearhead a diverse team of 6 individuals in operations, sales, and support. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Direct and manage the BDM, Client, and Operational Teams' activities, reviewing progress through Performance Management Evaluation process against agreed objectives.
  2. Schedule Branch sales meetings with Branch Sales Representatives to guide and share market information.
  3. Oversee branch budget and profit and loss accounts management.
  4. Act as key account manager for National accounts within your Branch, attending regular sales meetings with your Business Development Managers.
  5. Execute a Branch Strategic Planning Process and implement a Strategic Business Approach.
  6. Maintain existing accounts and increase sales of all products.
  7. Achieve Branch objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees in your Branch.
  8. Communicate job expectations, plan, monitor, appraise, and review job contributions of all staff within your Branch.
  9. Achieve Branch sales operational objectives by contributing Branch sales information and recommendations to strategic plans.
  10. Interpret National action plans into your territory.
  11. Enforce policies and procedures set by the Company.
  12. Meet Branch sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  13. Establish, maintain, and expand your customer base.
  14. Serve the needs of your existing customers while focusing on new business to grow the area.
  15. Set sales targets for individual members of the team and the team as a whole to aid overall Branch performance.
  16. Build and maintain rapport with key customers, identifying new customer opportunities. Recruit and train staff alongside Human Resources to ensure all staff are recruited and trained in line with the Company's people agenda.
  17. Allocate areas to sales people to ensure the area is covered and a sustainable amount of new business is won.
  18. Monitor your team's performance and motivate them to reach targets with regular 1:1 and performance reviews.
  19. Compile and analyse sales figures, reporting weekly to Operations Director.
  20. Collect customer feedback and market research from key stakeholders.
  21. Stay up-to-date with products and competitors within the industry to ensure our products and services are competitive and current.
  22. Full responsibility for all sales compliance processes within your Branch or area, ensuring company and statutory standards and laws are being adhered to at all times.
  23. Closely work with Company Legal Counsel to ensure legal compliance.
  24. Manage all day-to-day functions carried out at offices of the Branch.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 basic salary, £5,700 car allowance, commission, discretionary bi-annual bonus, healthcare plan, contribution to gym membership, employee assistance programme, and pension.
