About the Role
Care in Mind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing, developing, and implementing specialist interventions for young people with complex mental health difficulties and neurodiversity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and develop specialist interventions for young people with complex mental health difficulties and neurodiversity
- Work collaboratively with mental health services to provide a comprehensive assessment and treatment service
- Support colleagues and residential staff to reflect on their practice and empathy levels
- Deliver therapeutic group work and support the organisation on-call
- Proactive stakeholder engagement with key stakeholders
- Screening referrals and assessing suitability of new clients
- Delivering training and supervision to multi-agency professionals
- Support systemic growth and development by engaging in working parties
- Completing qualitative and quantitative audits and identifying recurring themes
Person Specification
- Registered Nurse (RMN) qualification
- Legislative knowledge and experience
- Evidence of continued professional development
- Experience of working with young people with complex mental health difficulties and neurodiversity
- Band 6 or above experience
About Care in Mind
Care in Mind is a CQC registered specialist service providing NHS funded intensive mental health packages and residential placements for complex young people aged 16-30. We are a clinically led service working with young people with a history of complex trauma and personality disorders.
