Job Summary

Barnardo's is seeking an experienced and motivated professional to fill the role of Head of New Goods and Trading Operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of our retail operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the development of the Trading Team through effective coaching and regular meetings.
  • Lead the buying and merchandising team, ensuring deadlines are met and annual audits are completed to exacting standards.
  • Work with the Finance Strategic lead to introduce, manage, and update new report and forecasting tools to efficiently allocate stock to the right place.
  • Analyze data to make accurate buying decisions and allocate stock correctly, efficiently, and in a targeted manner.
  • Purchase a commercial range suitable for Barnardo's online customers and build on successes.
Requirements
  • Graduate or relevant discipline such as business, marketing, mathematics, or management.
  • Understanding of web design and web analytic software.
  • Digital marketing experience.
  • Understanding and application of financial practices.
  • Experience in marketing and technology.
  • Ability to make decisions.
