Job Overview:

Tate Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Operations Research Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for uncovering and defining key business requirements, conducting in-depth data analysis, and delivering actionable insights to improve business efficiency.

About the Job:
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Requirements Gathering: Engage stakeholders through interviews and workshops to document high-priority business needs.
    • Data Analysis: Assess existing and potential data sources for quality, accessibility, and relevance to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Feasibility Studies: Conduct thorough assessments of proposed solutions, documenting business impact and efficiency gains.
    • Expected Outputs: Develop outputs aligned with business objectives, including database structures, reports, and dashboards.
    • Accuracy & Security: Establish acceptable accuracy levels and ensure data security compliance.
    • Documentation: Create comprehensive reports for data scientists, presenting all artifacts in a 'show & tell' Q&A format.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • Experience: Proven background in technical business analysis and data science concepts.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of data analysis, visualization tools, and data security practices.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail abilities.

Project Duration: 4 months, with deliverables including a full report on 3–5 prioritized business requirements.

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
