About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Careers Advisor to join our Advice & Recruitment Team at Only FE. As a Careers Guidance Professional, you will play a vital role in providing professional career guidance services to our students, including personal guidance interviews, to improve their skills, knowledge, and understanding for career planning and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver careers-related learning to groups, utilizing the CDI Framework and Gatsby Benchmarks to ensure effective guidance and support.
  • Provide information, advice, and guidance services within a post-16 setting, including supporting UCAS and clearing processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with students, staff, and external organizations to ensure seamless support and guidance.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of careers guidance strategies and policies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive and high-quality careers guidance service.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level or significant relevant experience in Careers and a Level 6 qualification in Careers Advice and Guidance.
  • Experience of delivering careers-related learning to groups and knowledge of the CDI Framework and Gatsby Benchmarks.
  • Effective communication skills, including written and verbal, and the ability to relate to a wide range of people and organizations.
  • Experience of working in, or providing, an information, advice, and guidance service within a post-16 setting.
