Job Title: Conveyancing Solicitor

HST Hiring Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of residential property transactions without supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Relationships: Establish and maintain good relationships with referrers, such as estate agents and brokers, to secure new business opportunities.
  • Source and Manage Work: Identify and pursue new sources of work, as well as take on leads passed to you and some panel work.
  • Provide Expert Advice: Offer expert legal advice to clients on property matters, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, leases, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct Property Searches: Conduct thorough property searches and investigations to identify any potential issues.
  • Liaise with Clients and Parties: Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth property transactions.
  • Oversee Exchange and Completion: Coordinate the exchange of contracts and completion of property transactions, ensuring timely and efficient results.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance in all aspects of the role.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions, including client information and communication details.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer, registered with the Solicitors Regulation Authority, Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, or The Council for Licensed Conveyancers.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in fee-earning, with a strong background in property law and conveyancing.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in using conveyancing software and relevant legal databases, and attention to detail and accuracy in legal documentation.
