Overview

Nova Artes Engineering is seeking a motivated and skilled Senior Gas Services Technician to perform a diverse array of scheduled and emergency gas-related tasks in various locations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Execute scheduled and emergency maintenance tasks as directed by the Contract Manager, within the scope of training and capabilities.
  • Work independently or collaboratively to meet deadlines and uphold contract performance standards.
  • Adapt to flexible working hours to align with business needs.
  • Participate in the on-call rota for after-hours emergency repairs.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for yourself, site personnel, and the public.
  • Promptly report issues to the Supervisor or Contract Manager.
  • Coordinate with site personnel to access locations for maintenance activities.
  • Assist the contract supervisor in preparing repair estimates.
  • Perform any additional tasks as required by the company within your skill set.
Minimum Qualifications: Essential:
  • Commercial gas certifications: CCN1, CENWAT, CODNCCO1, CDGA1, and CIGA1.
  • Recognized Health & Safety training.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to achieve high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Proficiency in using SMART devices and completing electronic documentation.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Successful completion of DBS/Police background checks for specific work environments.
Desirable:
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in a relevant mechanical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • OFTEC registration or experience with oil-fired systems.
  • Knowledge of unvented water systems.
  • WRAS certification.
  • Electrical safety training.
  • IPAF/PASMA qualifications.
Compensation:
  • Annual salary of up to £55,000, depending on experience.
  • Annual bonus potential (up to £5,000).
