Classroom Leader

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Year 2 Teacher to join our primary school in Macclesfield. As a Year 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching and supporting the development of students in this key stage.

**About the Role:** This is a full-time teaching position, covering maternity leave, with the opportunity to support student transition and make a positive impact on their educational journey. The successful candidate will have experience as a Year 2 Teacher or Key-Stage 1 teacher, with a genuine care for children's wellbeing and development.

**Responsibilities:**

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students in Year 2
• Support student transition and adjust to new teachers
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve academic excellence

**Requirements:**

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
• Experience working in a school setting, preferably as a Year 2 Teacher
• Genuine care for children's wellbeing and development
• Local residence to Macclesfield preferred
