Senior Consultant - Engineering Geologist/Geotechnical Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant - Engineering Geologist/Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Allen & York Ltd. As a key member of our consultancy, you will be responsible for providing independent advice on environmental issues to the public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake various projects and work on complex and multidisciplinary assignments
  • Supervise a range of practical and field works, overseeing technical work prepared by colleagues
  • Have a good working knowledge of geotechnical slope assessment models such as SlopeW and experience in the use of CAD and three-dimensional digital terrain models such as LSS
  • Experience of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts
  • Hold a BSc, BEng, MSc, MSci or MEng in a Geology, Earth Sciences or Civil Engineering related discipline

Requirements

  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Fellowship of the Geological Society or Graduate Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers Chartership
