Principal Sustainable Design Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced BREEAM professional to join our expanding Sustainable Design team at Perpetual Engineering Partnerships Limited. As a Principal Sustainable Design Consultant, you will work closely with other talented design professionals to deliver key project workstreams, engage with clients to ensure project delivery within established timelines and budgets, and effectively navigate any changes that may arise.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide BREEAM consultancy services on a range of asset types, including offices, data centres, education and training facilities, residential institutions, workshops, etc.
  2. Lead client and design team workshops to ensure clear and articulate communication.
  3. Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to develop sustainable design strategies and produce sustainability statements in support of planning applications.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant subject.
  2. Understanding of Building Regulations.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex sustainable design concepts to clients, team members, and stakeholders.

Desirable Skills

  1. Experience in DREAM and Sustainability Appraisals for projects in the defence sector.
  2. Some experience in thermal modelling or SAP assessments.
