Job Role

We are seeking a Commercial Laundry Equipment Technician to install, maintain and repair commercial and industrial laundry equipment at customer locations. This role involves working independently and as part of a team to provide exceptional customer service and minimise downtime.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Installation, commissioning and testing of commercial and industrial laundry equipment.
  2. Routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
  3. Diagnostics and troubleshooting of equipment issues, both mechanical and electrical.
  4. Repair and replacement of faulty components, such as motors, pumps, valves and control panels.
  5. Equipment calibration and adjustment to ensure accurate operation.
  6. Record-keeping of service and maintenance activities.
  7. Technical support and customer guidance on equipment operation and maintenance.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Field Service Engineer or Installation Engineer experience.
  • Electrical single and three-phase knowledge.
  • Able to use a multi-meter and read schematic diagrams and wiring diagrams.
  • Mechanical or Gas Engineer experience advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and customer focus.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • UK Driving Licence and ability to travel extensively across the UK.
