Job Title: Consultant Haematologist
Location: Yorkshire
Job Type: Full-time, 3-month contract with possibility of extension
Salary: £120,000 - £150,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Haematologist to join our team at a hospital in Yorkshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and managing a team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide clinical leadership and management of the haematology department
- To develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety
- To participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to decision-making processes
- To maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Medical degree from a recognised institution
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrable experience in haematology and leadership roles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
