Operations Manager Transport & Warehouse

Full-time position available for an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee the efficient transportation and storage of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers and take an active interest in their projects, fostering strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Lead a team of 6 staff members, managing warehouse and transport operations within a multidrop environment for construction products.
  • Produce monthly reports highlighting key performance indicators, such as stock levels and delivery efficiency.
  • Support the Branch Manager in making strategic decisions and implementing operational improvements.
  • Develop and implement effective route planning to minimize manual handling and optimize delivery times.
  • Process and prepare customer orders, utilizing a forklift truck to efficiently load and unload vehicles.
  • Work closely with the management team to identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to the development of new processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Prior industry experience, preferably in logistics or transportation management.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards common goals.
