We are seeking an upbeat and self-motivated Christmas delivery driver to join our team at Meriden Media. As a Christmas delivery driver, you will be responsible for delivering parcels across Abingdon, working independently and as part of a team.



Job Description


Your day will start with a briefing in the local delivery office, where you will sort mail for your route. You will then either take out your van or make your way out on foot, using a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures for deliveries.



The round will take around four hours to complete, and the hand-held computer will guide you through the most economical route, telling you which house to visit next.



About You


We are looking for someone who is flexible, reliable, and has a strong sense of community. A full UK manual driving licence (with no more than six penalty points) is essential, but a clean licence is preferred.



As a Christmas delivery driver, you will work across weekends, but you will have days off during the week when required. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge, and work with a dynamic team.



Salary and Benefits


The estimated salary for this role is £16,580 per annum, based on 14:00-20:00 working hours and five shifts per week. We offer a competitive hourly rate, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment.
