Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve meals to residents, adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards.

  • Escalate any concerns or issues to the Chef Manager.

Requirements

  • Level 2 food safety certificate.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures, including COSHH.
  • Previous catering experience and knowledge of basic food safety and safe use of knives and kitchen equipment.
  • Experience working with older people.

Desirable Skills

  • Ability to organize time and prioritize tasks.
  • Flexibility to work in a pressured environment.
