Job Title: Band Saw/FLT Driver

Proactive Personnel Ltd is seeking a skilled Band Saw operative with an FLT counterbalance licence to join our client in Wolverhampton on a temp to perm basis.

Job Duties:
  • Operate multiple bandsaw machines using work instructions
  • Manage multiple machines, including changeovers and re-setting
  • Drive the counterbalance FLT
  • Operate the overhead crane
  • Shrink wrap products
  • Pick and pack products
  • Work in a multi-skilled role, assisting with various tasks on the shop floor

This is a varied and busy role in a steel/aluminium environment. The ideal candidate will be happy working in a fast-paced environment and be willing to help out when required.

Key Requirements:

  • FLT counterbalance licence
  • Ability to work in a busy, dynamic environment
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy products
