Credit Controller Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Nicholas Associates Group Limited. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the sales ledger, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the sales ledger, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts.
  • Conduct credit checks on new customers and set credit limits.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare regular reports on credit control activities and debtor status.
  • Liaise with internal departments to resolve queries and disputes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining positive relationships with clients.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage aged debtors.
  • Implement and maintain credit control policies and procedures.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities.
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in credit control or a similar financial role.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • SAP experience would be advantageous.
