Newly Qualified Swimming Instructor

We are seeking a Newly Qualified Swimming Teacher to join our team at Stepping Stones, a leading private learn-to-swim provider in Scotland. As a Newly Qualified Teacher, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build your confidence as a swimming instructor, while making a positive impact on children's learning and development.

Main Responsibilities:

• Participate in our comprehensive mentoring and shadowing program to build teaching skills and confidence.
• Assist in the safe delivery of swimming lessons following our weekly framework.
• Support the progression and development of each swimmer through our framework.
• Engage with the assessment of swimmers for our awards program twice per year.
• Provide feedback to our office as required.

Requirements:

• National Governing Body Swimming Teacher Certificate (Essential).
• Passion for learning and professional development.
• Desirable NRASTC or NPLQ qualification but not essential.
• A fun, friendly, and passionate approach to making a difference in children's lives.
