The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead the deployments of our on-the-edge solutions within our Commercial and Industrial Enterprise offering.

This role will be responsible for managing commercial IoT projects for large enterprise accounts from initiation to completion, utilizing both waterfall and agile methodologies.

The successful candidate will join our team during a period of significant growth, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that drive our energy generation and sustainability products.

The role will be the first in our complex projects division and will offer the opportunity of significant development as you assist with the building out of our large and complex projects division, supporting regions such as the UK, Europe, North America, and South Africa.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage commercial IoT projects for large enterprise accounts from initiation to completion.
  2. Manage hybrid-style projects using both waterfall and agile methodologies.
  3. Track project progress, timelines, resources, risks, and budgets to ensure successful, on-time delivery.
  4. Act as a primary point of contact for clients, creating and maintaining a strong relationship and ensuring clear and documented communication.
  5. Provide technical oversight and guidance on IoT architecture, deployment strategies, and hardware/software integrations, with existing commercial systems and network protocols in commercial applications.
  6. Conduct client workshops to gather and document technical requirements.
  7. Collaborate with the product and solutions teams, ensuring they have clear project briefs and timelines.
  8. Provide regular updates and reports to all stakeholders.
  9. Escalate to Senior management when required.
  10. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
Requirements
  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within IT or digital environments.
  2. Familiarity with commercial IoT use cases.
  3. Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional projects using project management methodologies and tools.
  4. Experience in both Waterfall and agile project management methodologies.
  5. Positive can-do attitude and excellent teamwork skills.
  6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  7. Experience in stakeholder management at all levels.
  8. Advanced problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  9. Ability to communicate effectively with product teams.
