Development Scientist

About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated Development Scientist to join our Applied and Regulated Development team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing products for clinical applications, reporting to the Associate Director, Translational Development - Infection.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and optimize molecular biology assays, including NGS, PCR, qPCR, and isothermal amplification.
- Develop and verify preparation workflows for clinical applications.
- Operate Nanopore sequencing devices and associated software.
- Perform data analysis, from basic data manipulation to complex bioinformatic pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
- Master's or Ph.D. in physical, chemical, or biological sciences.
- Experience in molecular biology, assay development, and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
