Infrastructure Delivery Specialist

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking an Infrastructure Delivery Specialist to join our team working on a major highway project in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the project manager in the successful delivery of this vital infrastructure project.
About the ProjectThe project involves the construction of a new highway in Cambridge, which will improve traffic flow and reduce congestion in the area. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities- Assist the project manager in overseeing all aspects of construction activities on site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, safety protocols, and deadlines.
- Liaise with subcontractors, ensuring they understand project requirements, timelines, and quality expectations.
- Monitor and inspect the work of subcontractors to ensure it meets project specifications and industry standards.
- Assist in implementing and enforcing safety protocols on site, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Provide regular updates to the project manager on the progress of the project, identifying any potential challenges or delays.
- Maintain clear communication with the project manager, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring everyone is kept informed and aligned.
- Experience in a similar role or industry.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
The estimated salary for this position is £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience. Randstad Construction and Property offers a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave.
