About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Catastrophe Modeller to join our team at Aon Corporation. As a key member of our catastrophe modelling team, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients understand and manage catastrophe risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our brokers, academic partners, and model evaluation specialists to develop and refine catastrophe models that provide accurate and relevant risk assessments for our clients.
  • Undertake sensitivity testing to help clients understand the impact of data quality, assumptions, and portfolio changes on their risk profiles.
  • Work closely with our model evaluation team to revise and challenge existing catastrophe models, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our clients.
  • Liaise with other teams and offices worldwide to ensure seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
  • Experience in a broking house analytical team, with a commercial/client focus.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex modelling outputs to a wide audience.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to work independently, under pressure, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in multi-relational database management systems and coding (SQL, R).
  • Dashboard analytics and GIS experience (e.g. Tableau, ArcGIS) is highly beneficial.
