Mobile Crane Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Mobile Crane Engineer to join our team at Kemp Recruitment. As a Mobile Crane Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of various cranes, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance on cranes of all sizes, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Repairs: Diagnose and repair faults, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Diagnostics: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to identify and resolve technical issues, minimizing downtime for clients.
  • Client Support: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction with every job.

Experience / Qualifications Required:
  • Professional Certification: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Heavy Vehicle/Plant Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven mechanical engineering experience across mechanical brakes, reduction gearboxes, and electro-mechanical brakes.
  • Electrical Engineering experience: With understanding of three-phase control systems.
  • Driving Licence: A full, valid UK driving licence is essential.
  • Experience of PLCs and inverter control systems: Preferred.
