About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Clean Water Modeller to join our Water Consultancy team at RPS Group. As a Senior Clean Water Modeller, you will be responsible for delivering technical expertise in clean water modelling, working closely with clients to understand their needs and develop innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver clean water modelling projects, including scoping, model build, model maintenance, zonal and growth studies, and design support.
  • Prepare technical and analytical reports to communicate complex information to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with multi-discipline project teams to build, maintain, and manage strong working relationships with clients and other RPS Group disciplines.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Hold client meetings to discuss project progress, provide updates, and address any concerns or questions.
  • Ensure quality of outputs and compliance with client specifications, as well as awareness of and compliance with all health and safety, quality, and environmental aspects of projects.

About You:

We are looking for ambitious engineering professionals with a passion for problem-solving and water industry experience in the following areas:

  • Expertise in water engineering and network analysis, with a strong understanding of complex projects and client specifications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, providing technical guidance and support to junior colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project, as well as GIS Systems (MapInfo, ArcGIS, QGIS).
  • Experience using InfoWorks WS Pro, Synergi, or similar water modelling packages.
  • Hold a full clean driving licence, with the ability to travel to client sites and other RPS Group offices.
  • Degree qualified in a relevant subject, with a strong understanding of water engineering principles and practices.
  • Coding experience is desirable, but not essential (Ruby, Python, etc).
