Special Education Teacher

We are currently seeking an experienced SEND Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive Primary school in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching children with Severe Learning Difficulties, PMLD, and complex needs.
Job Description:The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to a mixed KS2 class of 9-11 year olds, all of whom have complex needs and many with ASD. They will need to demonstrate patience, understanding, and effective communication skills to build trusting relationships with the children.
We are looking for someone with a good level of experience, who can show confidence and competence in their daily duties. The ideal candidate will also be able to plan and organise activities that cater to different learning styles, ensuring each child has the opportunity to learn and grow.

Requirements:- Experience working with children with Severe Learning Difficulties, PMLD, and complex needs
- Ability to communicate effectively with children who have Severe Learning Difficulties
- Strong understanding of special educational needs and experience working with them
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons to meet the diverse needs of the class
- A competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience
