Job Description

We are seeking a Teaching and Learning Assistant to join our team at The White House School. As an Independence Assistant, you will work directly with pupils to advance their learning, providing 1:1 support and interventions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with class teachers to develop support strategies and differentiation within the classroom, creating resources as needed.
  • Planning, preparing, and delivering personalized learning experiences, adapting activities to meet individual needs within agreed supervision systems.
  • Contributing to high-quality learning experiences using diverse delivery methods, promoting academic progress and pupil development.
  • Supporting class teachers in assessing, recording, and reporting on pupil progress, utilizing this knowledge to extend and challenge learning.
