About the Role

Ethypharm, a leading European pharmaceutical company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist to join our team. As a Senior Scientist, you will play a crucial role in the formulation and process development of new sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical products.

Main Responsibilities
  • Formulation and Process Development: Develop and implement robust formulations for various sterile and non-sterile liquid dosage forms, including oral liquids, prefilled syringes, vials, and ampoules.
  • Protocol Development: Design and develop formulation and process development protocols adhering to the latest Quality by Design (QbD) and Design of Experiments (DoE) principles.
  • Lab Manufacturing and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of lab manufacturing activities and ensure that critical data are reported in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) standards.
  • Equipment Qualification and Maintenance: Support the introduction, qualification, and maintenance of pilot plant equipment, ensuring that these activities are captured in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Project Management: Prioritize formulation and process development activities to meet project timelines and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in formulation and process development gained within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Skills: Proven competence in standard IT systems, excellent time management, communication, decision-making, and organization skills, and a positive mindset with a strong work ethic.
