About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust as a Nurse Specialist in Cardiac Care.


The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and a strong interest in cardiology. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support.


Job Summary:


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to develop their skills and expertise in cardiac care. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients with complex cardiac conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on cardiac health and self-management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to Trust policies and procedures

Requirements:



  • Registered Nurse with current registration
  • Degree or Diploma in Nursing
  • Minimum 1 year experience in cardiology or cardiac nursing
  • Specific interest in cardiology and cardiovascular health
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
