Pertemps Burton Commercial is seeking a part-time Accounts Assistant to provide essential support to the finance team on a temporary basis for a minimum of 6 weeks. The main duties include providing financial support, assisting with reconciliations, invoicing, and general ledger management.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role and be proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, Excel. Strong ability to handle large volumes of data accurately and competence in basic mathematical calculations and understanding of accounting concepts are also required.

The role supports and assists with data entry and bookkeeping, accurately entering financial transactions into the accounting system, maintaining and updating accounting records and files, verifying accuracy of invoices, receipts, and other accounting documents, and processing invoices and purchase orders.

The successful candidate will be able to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and possess good verbal and written communication skills.
