Job Title:
Python Developer

Job Description:
Movement8 is a leading organisation in the financial sector, focused on delivering innovative solutions. We are seeking a talented Python Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python application development, with experience in microservices architecture and API integrations. Experience in the financial sector is preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Python. Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with 3rd-party APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange. Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration between backend and frontend systems. Write unit and integration tests, troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure reliability and performance. Work closely with product managers, DevOps, and other developers to deliver well-architected solutions. Strong proficiency in Python application development (3+ years). Strong frontend experience, particularly with JavaScript. Experience in the financial services sector is preferred but not essential. Understanding of secure coding practices and performance optimization.
