Job Title: Housekeeping Assistant

As a Housekeeping Assistant at Belong, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort for our customers within our village facilities and households.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver domestic services that uphold the core values of Belong and meet organisational requirements to ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of customers, team members, and visitors.
  • Respond to individual customer needs for domestic support to enable them to maintain their household accommodation.
  • Assist the team by responding to requests for assistance with housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and laundry.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate qualities that align with Belong's vision and values.
  • Communicate clearly and maintain a professional manner.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet customer needs and achieve team goals.
  • Prioritise tasks and complete them to the required standard and in a timely manner.
  • Able to undertake moving and handling of loads, using specialist equipment when necessary.
  • Able to undertake housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and laundry, using relevant equipment.
  • Able to complete written work records.
  • Good customer care focus with a desire to serve others.
  • Awareness of Health and Safety requirements and ability to follow product safety advice sheets and procedures.
  • Reliable and able to fulfill contracted hours and work patterns.
  • Diploma/NVQ 2 in Cleaning and Building Interiors or equivalent (essential or working towards).
  • Experience of previous commercial or domestic cleaning.

Rate of Pay: £12.00 per hour

Working Hours: 22.75 hours per week

DBS Check: Enhanced DBS check required as part of the recruitment process
