About the Role

The Data Center Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from conceptualization to commissioning. This includes managing cross-functional teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and partners to ensure successful project execution
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement process improvements

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably in the data center sector
  • Strong technical knowledge of civil, electric, and mechanical engineering principles
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification, such as CCM, PMP, or AC
  • Knowledge of critical data center equipment and systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
