This is an exciting opportunity to work with young people and help them develop the skills they need to succeed in business and beyond.
About the RoleAs a Business Trainer and Education Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, learner-focused vocational training. This will involve working on live projects within the prison estate and helping students to develop their business skills.
You will also be required to hold regular classes and workshops, providing guidance and support to students as they work on their projects.
In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of student progress and performance, and for identifying areas where students may require additional support or resources.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business and education, and will be able to communicate effectively with students from a range of backgrounds and ages.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, learner-focused vocational training to students at HMP Lowdham Grange
- Work on live projects within the prison estate to help students develop their business skills
- Hold regular classes and workshops, providing guidance and support to students as they work on their projects
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
- Identify areas where students may require additional support or resources
- Bachelor's degree in business or education
- Proven experience in teaching or training in a business-related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible approach to working in a fast-paced environment
We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
