About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Medical Writer to join our team as a Scientific Director. As a key member of our creative communications agency, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, scientifically accurate content for our clients in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective content strategies to meet client needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and high-quality output.
  • Lead and mentor a team of medical writers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, regulations, and guidelines to ensure our content is accurate and compliant.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Contribute to the development of new business opportunities through proposal writing, workshops, and pitches.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timelines.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience as a Medical Writer in an agency setting, ideally with a focus on creative medical writing.
  • Experience working with global pharmaceutical companies and creative briefs.
  • Experience working directly with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • A solid scientific background and experience working on multiple therapeutic areas.
  • Ability to learn and understand new therapy areas quickly and comprehensively.
  • Proven experience leading and developing a team of medical writers.
  • Understanding of clinical research, drug development processes, and industry guidelines and regulations.
