Job Title: Chartered Quantity Surveyor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at TED RECRUITMENT. As a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing expert cost management and quantity surveying services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial aspects of construction projects, including estimating, cost planning, and budgeting.
  • Conduct site inspections and monitor progress to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Prepare and submit reports, including progress reports, cost reports, and final accounts.
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS or FRICS) with a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in a PQS or construction consultancy environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and contractors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and other relevant software.
